BERNICE PLENERT After a long illness, Bernice Plenert passed away on Monday, May 1, 2000 at Oakview Place Personal Care Home. Bernice is survived by her husband Cornelius and his family as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Bernice was predeceased by her first husband Joseph Wright in 1958 as well as all of her siblings. She was born July 23, 1910 at Arden, Man. Bernice was an avid curler, enjoyed doing crafts, and volunteered at the Red Cross for many years until ill health forced her to quit. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 4 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., with Rev. Franz Wiebe officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens with a gathering of family and friends in Chapel Lawn Reception Centre. The family wishes to thank the staff at Oakview Place Personal Care Home for their care and support. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bernices memory may be made to a charity of choice.
